By confirming a booking with us you accept the following terms and conditions. Don’t worry, there are no nasty surprises, but it’s important that you read them carefully.
Prices
All rates are based on a per room, per night basis. The prices shown are inclusive of Full English Breakfast VAT and service charges.
Credit cards
Your card details will be used to guarantee your booking. No charges will be made unless specified or in the event of failure to comply with our cancellation policy.
Cancellation
We understand that sometimes it might be necessary to cancel your booking. You can do so with no charge up until 12 noon on the intended day of your arrival. To cancel your booking phone 01472 240 024. You will be issued with a cancellation reference number that you will need to quote in all future correspondence regarding this particular booking.
Failure to comply with our cancellation policy will result in a charge equivalent to the cost of your first night’s stay. This also applies to rooms within group bookings.
Very rarely, we may have to cancel your booking. We will inform you as soon as possible and offer you alternative accommodation of the same standard, or higher, or offer a full refund. We cannot pay compensation or any reimbursement of any expenses or costs you may incur as a result of any such cancellation or change.
Arrival and departure
Check in: Your room will be ready for you from 2pm.
Check out: You don’t need to leave your room until 11am on the morning of your departure.
Please inform the hotel if you will be arriving late. Failure to do so may result in the room being resold.
Deposits
All deposits are non-refundable.
Insurance
It’s a good idea to take out insurance to cover for unexpected cancellations or curtailment of your stay as well as the loss of baggage, personal affects or money. We cannot be held responsible for any loss you incur.
Mobility Impaired
We comply with the access requirements of current legislation. If you have any special requirements please inform us at the time of booking.
Children
Accommodation for children up to the age of 12 is free of charge when sharing a room with two paying adults. Meals are charged as taken. Children/young adults over the age of 12 are charged at full price.
High chairs and cots are available on request. Please let us know your requirements and we will reserve whatever you need.
All children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Pets
Pets are not accepted at the Humber Royal Hotel with the exception of assistance dogs which are welcome at no extra charge.
Smoking
We operate a strict no-smoking policy throughout the hotel. Failure to comply will result in an automatic charge of £150 being made to your account.
Damage
You are responsible for any damage caused to the hotel or the furnishings of the hotel by you or a member of your party. If any such damage is caused the customer shall be liable to pay to the Humber Royal Hotel on demand the amount required to make good or remedy such damage.
Hotel Events
Please be aware that at certain times throughout the year we may host weddings, events and parties which you may feel would be intrusive. Please contact us for further information.
Events Beyond our Reasonable Control
We shall not be in breach of these terms, nor liable for any failure to perform any of our obligations in relation to your Booking (such as the provision of room(s) and/or other products and/or services and/or extras) due to any adverse event, act, omission or accident which happens beyond our reasonable control including, but not limited to, flood, earthquake, extreme adverse weather conditions, natural disasters, other acts of God, acts of terrorism, interruption or fire (except by way of our default) or failure of (except by way of our default) electric power, gas, water, or other utility service, plant machinery, computers, vehicles or any collapse of building structures.
